This afternoon, I’ve just watched Oprah Winfrey Show , which has been my fav show ever, on local tv here. I’ve found a very interesting topic about young media multi-millionaire. One of who really catch my attention is Gurbaksh Chahal. Chahal is the first Indian-American who appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show. And you know, when somebody is invited by Oprah, it means he got something spectacular right?

Yes, Gurbaksh Chahal is fantastic young millionaire. He made a great success when he was only 16 years old. By the time i watched Oprah, I also looked for his story on wikipedia. And here’s what I’ve found that I’d like to share with you.

On December 15, 1998, aged 16, Gurbaksh Chahal dropped out of high school and started his first venture, ClickAgents. ClickAgents was an advertising network focused on performance-based advertising. Two years later, on November 1, 2000, ValueClick announced it agreed to buy ClickAgents in a $40 million all-stock merger.[3] Chahal had a three year non-compete agreement with ValueClick.

In January 12, 2004, Chahal formed BlueLithium another advertising network which was recognized as an innovator in the online advertising space in a Business 2.0 article. In 2006, under Chahal’s leadership, BlueLithium was named Top Innovator by AlwaysOn.

On October 15, 2007, Yahoo! bought BlueLithium for $300 million in cash. He was 25 years old at the time. Chahal remained CEO of the company through the transition period. [6] Chahal is now working on his next start-up, gWallet, a site intended to allow users to find deals on merchandise for which they are looking, via the Internet.

On the Oprah Winfrey’s show, Gurbaksh Chahal said about how he struggle as Indian American who always get a negative words from his friends. His biggest inspiration, who is his own grandma, always said he must be strong today, because tomorrow will be better. Wow!! Simple words with a great meaning. A man who was born on July 17, 1982 in Punjab always lives his passion on his dream.

I totally agree about how we should keep dreaming to reach our goal. If we lose our dream, it means we lose our hope. Gurbaksh Chahal on Oprah show inspired us a lot that even life is not easy, but we must fight for it, we must stand in our feet, and tell the world that YES WE CAN. By the way, if you like to get to know more about Gurbaksh Chahal, you can go to his web http://www.chahal.com/ and you’ll find out his daily and his dream.
